Finding a trustworthy tradesperson usually means asking around
Your AC stops cooling in June. You call the number a neighbour gave you, wait, and accept whatever price you are quoted when someone finally arrives — because what is the alternative? You have no way to compare, no record of what was agreed, and no way to know who is standing in your living room.
Providers have the mirror-image problem: work comes by word of mouth, prices are haggled at the door, and a customer who refuses to pay after the job has no consequences.
The answer
Competing bids, a checkable provider, a record, and a code only you can share
On AsaanKam you post the job once, with photos and a pinned location. Approved providers nearby bid on it. You compare their prices, ratings and reviews and accept one. You pay them directly, and you close the job with a completion code that stays in your hands until you are satisfied.
Because the same people who need a plumber also need to hire a cashier — and the same electrician may be looking for a full-time job — the hiring marketplace lives in the same app, on the same account, with no commission.

Honesty about the mechanics is the product
A trust platform that fakes trust signals is worse than one with none. So there are no invented testimonials, no press logos we did not earn, and no numbers we cannot prove on this site.

Say how the money moves
Customers pay providers directly. AsaanKam charges the provider 10% after the job is confirmed. We put that on the front page instead of in the small print.

Give the customer the last word
The completion code belongs to the customer. A job is not finished until they say it is.

Know who is on the platform
Providers submit identity documents and are reviewed by a person before they can bid. Employers are verified before they can post.

Rules that cut both ways
The zero-tolerance policy protects providers from abusive customers exactly as it protects customers from abusive providers. One account, one standard.
